Back in my glory days, I toured with Barry Manilow a couple of times. The weirdiest thing that I recalled about him was that he did not want to see anyone when he leaves the dressing room until he gets on stage. He would often come out and eat dinner at the gig, and converse some small chit chat with us, but whenever he's on his way to the stage, you have to stay out of sight. I can recall one time backstage I heard he was coming and I was caught in the hallway no where to go, so I just opened up the first door that I could fnd and hide. LOL..

I saw Barry in Las Vegas back in the 80's when we lived in CA and came to visit. I never belonged to the Fanilow club, but he has always been a great entertainer. I would like to see him again, but I don't Pat would go for that one.

I took on an extra responsiblity of running the fan club drawing at each show one tour. Extra $100 a night under the table for a couple hours work. Who woudn't? All I could say was that these women were freaking crazy!
