I recently did a small project filling in a hole where my left fairing connects to the frame. It's not really a "how-to" post so I didn't put it in mechanical-technical, but rather a post to show my work and get feedback, suggestions for better methods, tips, and tricks from others. The entire album can be found here through Picasa/google, but i've included some of the photos also. I simply used foil and tape to cover up the hole before using more plastic epoxy to put the shaped piece into the hole. Any tips / tricks / suggestions would be coo, this isn't going to be the last time i'll do plastic work.. | |

heh, maybe not quite yet.. still kinda a hobby thing right now. Plus I don't have all the parts/tools i'd like to be able to do better work. I'm thinkin of doin recreational repairs on friends' plastics in exchange for them buying what I need for it and lettin me keep it afterward... just things like polish and sandpaper or whatever I don't have at the moment. As long as they're ok with it taking a week or two to get their plastic back :P
