Well I got my New suit in and it fits like a glove.... With the knox chest and back protector I got its almost too tight so I'm definitely gonna have to break it in before next months track day weekend.

I posted in another thread I was getting a heroic suit but I gave up trying to order one after calling the owner five times with no success. I guess my money wasn't green enough for him.

Umm is the ridding or dump position???

Best way to break it in is to just wear the snot out of it. Wear it watching TV, doing chores, mowing the lawn, or even doing the dishes. Just wear it. Rub some leather softner on it too. It will help tremendously.

This may sound like a dumb question, but is putting leather softener the best idea for leather that is supposed to be tough enough to withstand some road rash? It just sounds like it might make the leather a little too soft and the suit might open up on you. Or does it not really work that way?

Just crash in it, that's the best way to break it in. Plus, makes it look super hardcore.

I would also think sharting in it would be great to loosen up the rearend and give that oh so fresh scent. And as a plus the under suit will filter all the corn out so it won't contaminate the leather.

Leather conditioner just make the leather more pliable, it does not effect it's tear resistance.

FYI Be careful not to apply leather softner/conditioner to the back side (BUTT). It can make it slippery. It's like putting armor all on your seat.

So, what he is saying is " dont lube up ur anus to much! It'll get to slipper!"

Best way to break it in? Go ride! There is nothing wrong riding in full leather out on the streets, doesn't have to be just for the track.

I got a one-piece when I bought my bike... rode 300 miles with it on the following Saturday... sweated so much that when it dried it stood in the corner by itself...

I'm gonna ripen this suit up in no time while I marinate inside of it.... I conditioned it today and will be wearing it on my commute to work daily, my coworkers are gonna think I'm crazy lol. Hopefully I'll be doing some group rides this weekend too!

Good deal. I wore the snot of mine, local rides, at home, everywhere until it was well broken in. Its a pain in the ass to battle a stiff suit while atthe track among all the other things going on. The conditioner will really help soften it up to actually allow you move in it. I still say you should mow your lawn in it. After you get done Febreeze it so you don't end up like green Drangon's suit.

Can't say I'm aware of what green Dragons suit smells like I try to keep my head out areas that may be dangerous to my health.... Would you like to share with the class what it is you experienced?

Although I myself have never experienced the wrath of green dragons suit, I only offer the Febreeze suggestion as a means to keep said suit as good smelling as possible. A liitle febreeze is always good.
