I Ride: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa LE/2007 Suzuki GSXR600/2000 Honda CBR600F4

Ride your motorcycle or scooter on this day to demonstrate:
  • The number of motorcyclists to the general public and to politicians.
  • That motorcyclists are from all occupations and all walks of life.
  • That motorcyclists can reduce traffic and parking congestion in large cities.
  • That motorcycles are for transportation as well as recreation.
  • That motorcycling is a social good.

Now I know this isn't your traditional group ride, but I'd like to have EVERYONE respond to this post with a commitment to ride to work, school, or even the gym on Wednesday, July 16th. Post your IN's!

I Ride: a jet
Why is this always in the middle of July, when its like riding thru hell outside?

Anyways I'm out, because I work at home. Unless maybe I ride to lunch somehwere, then riding back home would be like riding to work.

How to stay cool in the Summer Heat..
Lesson 1..after you get off bike, go directly into the air conditioned house.
lesson 2..Before you get on bike, make sure you suck up all the A/C you can!!

do you need a class to learn this? lmao

So I try to start my bike this morning, and no luck - not enough juice.
And this had to happen while I'm letting someone borrow my Battery Tender.

No jokes about being JV, please.

I had to park waay out in the shitty, uncovered parking lot. I'm going to move my baby right now.

They don't give you motorcycle parking? They took ours away once, so I made sure to take up full spaces next to any bikes I saw. They gave it back after a little while.

I rode today not knowing it's ride your bike to work day and my battery died as soon as I pulled up to work Had to compression start just to get home. At least the rain stopped about 20 minutes before I left work

Gotta get a new one before the ride this sunday. Love the VOF ride

I requested it and got the big FY very much... "parking is first come, first served" line.
