I Ride: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa LE/2007 Suzuki GSXR600/2000 Honda CBR600F4
Once again, it's time to mount up once again and take a nice, relaxed ride around our favorite scenic loop!

Meet Up Time/Date: 5:45pm Thursday, June 12th - Kickstands up at 6pm!
Meet Up Spot: The Chevron across from the Red Rock Casino. MAP

Route: Charleston/159 to the Red Rock Scenic Loop entrance. Through the loop... maybe one more trip through the loop. Stop off at the Overlook and kick back for a sec. Eventually head back in town and stop by Starbucks/Port A Subs/Pizza Hut/Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a while to recharge and talk bikes and life.

I know some of you out there with new-to-you bikes are going to make it out. We all can make excuses why we can't ride, so let's make some excuses to get out and enjoy the evening temps!

Oh yea... and for you hardcore Red Rock fans, I made a Social Group just for you!

I MIGHT GET OUT THERE THIS WEEK... I TRIED IT LAST WEEK 2UP AND I WASNT COMFORTABLE WITH 2UP GETTING DOWN.. SO WE CAN TRY SOLO AND SEE IF WE CAN DRAG ELBOWS =p

FYI I got pulled over with Marcus on the way home (No Marcus did not stop, don't worry), but I wasn't given a ticket (GO ME!). They wanted me to let you all know not to speed through the 215 construction zone. Apparently 1 or 2 weeks ago some motorcycles were weaving in and out of traffic there and one got hit and lost his leg. So they are getting really aggressive with pulling people over. The guy said he plans to chase anyone who tries to run down. I am sure most of this is a threat to make me afraid but I think he has a point about not speeding through that area of the 215, it's just not safe.

Dude. I thought you got pulled over. Wasn't sure - saw the cop moving then he stopped. I figured if I stopped I'd probably get one too. But we weren't really speeding - the car in front of us was going faster. Then I figured you were going to 15 south like you said before. I wondered why so many cops were just sitting there waiting...

Oh well. No ticket, so everything is cool.

I just wanted to say thanks to all who showed up for the ride through red rock tonight. It was a blast to ride thru there with 11 riders and to ride in formation for as much as we did and at that pace. Kudos on no accidents and hope everyone made it home safe. Adam, see what all that good riding karma gets you, no tickets.

Perfect weather, loop was pretty un-crowded, and nice bunch of peeps on the ride.

There were cops everywhere on Flamingo between Rainbow and Jones. I went to Jack in the Box to get me a salad (No Jokes, I really got a salad). I saw 2 bikes being chased by a M/C cop. About 8 bikes behind them that decided to scatted. Then, atleast 4 more people got pulled over while I was waiting for my food.
