I Ride: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa LE/2007 Suzuki GSXR600/2000 Honda CBR600F4


Once again, it's time to mount up once again and take a nice, relaxed ride around our favorite scenic loop!

Meet Up Time/Date: 6:00pm Thursday, July 24th - Kickstands up at 6:15pm!
Meet Up Spot: The Chevron across from the Red Rock Casino. MAP

Route: Charleston/159 to the Red Rock Scenic Loop entrance. Through the loop... maybe one more trip through the loop. Stop off at the Overlook and kick back for a sec. Eventually head back in town and stop by Starbucks/Port A Subs/Pizza Hut/Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a while to recharge and talk bikes and life.

We all can make excuses why we can't ride, so let's make some excuses to get out and enjoy the evening temps!

Oh yea... and for you hardcore Red Rock fans, I made a Social Group just for you!

I Ride: 06' CBR1000RR
Hey guys I WAS there today, I actually made it, I brought a friend with me and he's never been there, everything way going great and then he was following me a bit too fast for never being there, he hit one of the turns with an offset camber right at the apex, and went wide in the turn, causing him to low side. He has an 07 Gsxr600, the right side is all messed up, mechanically it's great, he even rode home, just the plastics are pretty banged up. When I get a chance I'll post pics I took with my camera phone!

That blows... but I'm glad to hear his bike is relatively OK. Did he get banged up any? I think just about every rider's been through that situation, though.

Even though I wasn't riding, it was nice to meet a couple of you. When the weather cools down a bit I'll be riding the bike to work more often so I can join in on these rides.

Sorry to hear about the 07 GSXR600 crashing...first time thru there youve got to take it slow and learn the "course"--too many tight turns for a newbie!!!

He has a nice scorpion leather jacket, just didn't wear it?

He fell at about 20mph, he just couldn't hang with the Twin, silly him, he was on a GSXR600, I was tearing up those twisties!
