I Ride: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa LE/2007 Suzuki GSXR600/2000 Honda CBR600F4


Once again, it's time to mount up once again and take a nice, relaxed ride around our favorite scenic loop!

Meet Up Time/Date: 6:00pm Thursday, August 7th - Kickstands up at 6:15pm!
Meet Up Spot: The Chevron across from the Red Rock Casino. MAP

Route: Charleston/159 to the Red Rock Scenic Loop entrance. Through the loop... maybe one more trip through the loop. Stop off at the Overlook and kick back for a sec. Eventually head back in town and stop by Starbucks/Port A Subs/Pizza Hut/Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a while to recharge and talk bikes and life.

We all can make excuses why we can't ride, so let's make some excuses to get out and enjoy the evening temps!

Oh yea... and for you hardcore Red Rock fans, I made a Social Group just for you!

I have a Cron job that checks the boards for red rock posts every 100 milliseconds, and auto posts an IN, while sending me a text message on my cell, and emailing me.

The tire has wear marks.
Look between the threads, there are little rubber bumps.
When those are at the same level as the surface of the tire, its time to change, but you still have a few 100 miles left.

If the bumps are gone, then so will be your traction.

I was actually thinking about going, but looking out my window right now it looks like it's raining that way and I hear thunder...I don't mind the rain but not at Red Rock, you guys have fun and be safe!!!

I Ride: k8 GSX-R 1000
Even though Adam claimed to need to stop and get gas, I'm glad he pulled that whole shenanigan because it was definitely a fun first ride. That, and it was great meeting most of you guys. Thanks, and I look forward to the next ride.
