I Ride: 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa LE/2007 Suzuki GSXR600/2000 Honda CBR600F4


Once again, it's time to mount up once again and take a nice, relaxed ride around our favorite scenic loop!

Meet Up Time/Date: 6:00pm Thursday, August 14th - Kickstands up at 6:15pm!
Meet Up Spot: The Chevron across from the Red Rock Casino. MAP

Route: Charleston/159 to the Red Rock Scenic Loop entrance. Through the loop... maybe one more trip through the loop. Stop off at the Overlook and kick back for a sec. Eventually head back in town and stop by Starbucks/Port A Subs/Pizza Hut/Tropical Smoothie Cafe for a while to recharge and talk bikes and life.

We all can make excuses why we can't ride, so let's make some excuses to get out and enjoy the evening temps!

I don't think I'll make this. The exhaust control valve actuator on my bike look's like it's jammed. Looking at the service manual, it looks fairly complicated...

That "jamming" may have been because my battery didn't have enough juice to turn the motor. Battery recharging now. I definitely won't be making it, though.

Dude remove the little flapper for the exhaust control valve, that thing just takes away peak HP, I understand how it works, but does it really give that much more torque at low speeds?
