Alright SCS... the time has come to get out to the track! All of you peeps who've been contemplating doing a track day, here's your chance to get out there. Fastrack Riders will be holding a trackday at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway 1.8 mile Classic Course on Saturday, November 15th. With the weather cooling down, this will be a great time to experience the thrill of exploring the limits of your bike without worrying about a $1500 citation.

Fastrack Riders has a $115 mandatory novice riders school for all first time trackday riders. Other than that, there are three groups which can accommodate all riding skill levels. Here's the registration page:

Fastrack Riders LVMS 11/15 Registration Page

You can find out all of the trackday specifics from their main page:

Fastrack Riders Home Page

Personally, I haven't participated in a trackday in about three years and I'm really looking forward to getting back out there. For all of you first-timers, we can ensure that you have the proper riding gear as well as making sure your bike is properly prepped.

Believe me, this is the most fun you'll ever have in your riding gear. Once you've lost your trackday virginity, you'll definitely want to do it again... and again. Let's see some INs! If you have any questions, please post them up!

We might also do a tech day sometime before for those attending to make sure the bikes are ready for the track day (safety wire, coolant, oil changes, tires, etc...)

I hear ya... and I understand fully. BUT... mark your calendar anyway. Come on out so you can get an idea of what a trackday is all about! Spectating is FREE and you can check out the fast riders (in other words... not me) and ask questions so you're that much more comfortable with doing your first trackday.

This goes for EVERYONE! If you can't afford or don't have all the gear you need for this trackday, come on out and hang out with some moto friends!

I think according to the man last night we will be there to support all of the SCS that will be there, and I will even get the great camera from work to take some action shots.

I'm not going to be able to ride the track either... but I'll be riding out there at around 9am. I'll post up a meetup in a few.

I'm not waiting for guys to show up at the Iron Skillet when I can just go around the corner and be there watching. You'll probably be fine if you show up between 8 and noon.

My in-laws are at my house with Joyce and I doing some painting. It would have been a dick move for me to leave for a few hours while everyone else was working. I left Freddy a message to that effect.
