Ride to Scotty's Castle with Desert Rider's Club out of Carter Power Sports

Date: Saturday, March 14th, 2009
Time: 8:00am

There will be a short "orientation" meeting then "wheels up" about 8:30. This is a mixed group of slow and fast, young and old, so they tend to ride on the slower side to accommodate everyone. They've talked about doing a "group A/B" sort of thing so anyone who wants to ride a little faster can. I'm not sure if that will happen on this ride or not. By slow I mean they ride the speed limit or 5MPH over. Please post your INs as we get closer, so I can let them know and they can plan accordingly.

I can't make this, but I was just out there back on the 10th. I noticed it says no gas available on Scotty's website. Just so you know there is a gas station nearby over by Furnace Creek Ranch. The attendant may or may not be there, so make sure you bring plastic if you need to fill up there just in case.
