you cant feed the donkeys anymore, they decided that the donkeys were getting too fat from all the tourists feeding them... also, be careful, the road was fairly dirty when we went to oatman on thursday. if you guys are going to be in kingman, id love to see you all... i might have to go to lake havasu the 29th, but not positive yet... if not, then lets meet up for a sec.

Awesome. Thanks guys. It's not as friendly in Tennessee where my family lives, I have a bike there too, but they don't seem to like outsiders....or maybe it's because I'm from the city....Idk. LOL. Any estimate of when we would be back in Vegas? I'm supposed to be at work at 3, can push it back to 4:30....maybe longer, just curious.

if they leave on time, they should hit here at 10-1030 am, its 100 miles from hendo to kingman... then their asses had better meet up with me (insert mean glare here) cuz i misses alll of them! and then from kingman to laughlin through oats is usually about an hour stretched out to however long everyone agrees on... then about 1 and a half to two hours back... so depending on how long in oatman, approx 4 hours ride time, plus hangout time. id say youll probably be safe for 3, but you might want to push the later time to rest when you get home before work. itll be good to meet you, bright shiny new face.

oooooohhhhh!! you has my bike too! yay!

Thanks for the projected return time...I wouldn't call it a bright, shiny new face...as I work for a show in theater.... meaning I hardly ever see the sun for more than a few each day. Sometimes I go for days without going outside...unless I make a point to ride my bike to work. I stay at The Signature (part of the MGM) and work at the MGM ( connected through a covered walkway), don't actually have a residence in Vegas....yet. Bought my bike here just to have transportation and a means of getting out since we are here over half the year. Looking for a house in the next few months, btw, in case anybody knows of any decent places for sale. Look forward to meeting everyone Sunday. One more question, my girlfriend is considering riding along, and I was just wondering what the usual pace is for the group rides. Are we just cruising along, or are we actually riding? Doesn't matter either way, just curious so she can "prepare." LOL

The pace will be a mix of both, I'm sure. But no one ever gets left behind... there will be lead and sweep riders who will ensure we stay together as one unit. Wear your gear!

Being fully geared up is very important. We try to be smart about how we ride and the gear we wear. Live to ride another day!

Just got back from Oatman. It was packed with people because of the holiday weekend. The road were clear going there. Hit a few wet patches getting there (rained in Searchlight and Christmas Pass) but it was a nice drive. I had to take the wife since she won't be making the trip tomorrow.
