2010 Mileage contest

Jan 1st, anyone who wants to join in, posts up a pic of their odometer for proof of mileage. I'd say put it next to the daily paper or something to prove date but I think we can deal without that, its all for fun anyhow!

At the 1st of each consecutive month, post up a pic of your odometer, tallying miles for that month and total miles for the year. Maybe we'll figure out a prize, but for now its all just for the fun of it.

Anyone can jump in

Oh, post up if you're in, with the bike/bikes you'll be riding, I'll get a list going . .

lol...the FZ6 Forum I belong to has the samething going, but it's separated into two groups, seasonal and year round since it's a global forum. Looks like I'm going to be logging around 15K for 2009.

I'm game for 2010.

I'll post up on the 1st, along with the picture. I think I used my cell phone's screen showing the date for proof.

One note, not sure if posting every month is necessary, since it's a year thing. Most important is to get the beginning mileage. Plus, there will always be members who will forget to upadate each month.

Great idea! In for my 06 GSXR 600.

I don't expect to anywhere close to the top, but it'll be cool to look back on the year and see exactly how much I rode. Maybe I can even make charts and graphs and shit. Hmm... I can make a program to do that.

post up your mileage and gearing change. if you're the winner (or close), we can calculate what your actual mileage is based on the gearing change.

Everyone who's in should ante up $25 and the money would be held by the Club Treasurer or placed into the club account and the winner would receive a Chevron Gas Card. I say Chevron because it seems lke its the most abundant station around Vegas.

So if we have ten people in, the gas gard would be worth $250 to the winner. If we have A LOT of In's, maybe we can award a 2nd place finisher.

Hey Last Minute I win by default if I can show mileage from 2001 on my 2008 model I can do anything. Cheap Ass camera doesn't know what year it is.

the zrx is at 21,718.1 I rode about 80 miles on the 3rd so lets call it 21,648 for a start point. the hyo is apart have to wait a couple of weeks to check.
