I got an unexpected day off this Friday which means I am getting out of town and enjoying this great weather. Meet up Spot: Gas station at the intersection of SR 159 and SR 160 http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...63&ie=UTF8&z=8 Meet up Time: 9:15, K/U 9:30 Distance: around 300 miles Route: Heading over the pass, through Tecopa and stopping for gas in Shoshone then down Bad Water road to Furnace Creek for lunch and gas. At this point we will discuss the optimal route home. Pointers: Gas stops are about 80 miles apart. Bring water. Bring a camera. Maintain your bike and leave your ego, I hate waiting on a helicopter or cutting a trip short because of a corded tire. Join me for a fun day of sun and twisties. This will be my first ride out of state this year - can't wait.
