Great Ride today guys...we had 26 bikes to start, some people fell out, but there were still 15 at the end. I know alot of people had trouble keeping up, and we tried to stop as much as possible. I got to experience a little bit of "Left behind syndrome"!!!...Between Overton and Henderson, on the EXTREMELY bumpy area, my Dampner decided to explode. I mean that seriously...! It was jamming my handlebars, and making it so that I couldnt turn the wheel!! All is good though. I got home, and took it off. It has cracked and broken into 4 pieces that all fell off when I took it off! I did one hell of an endo when it went to. Guy behind me said I got pretty high! Only one close accident. I was behind a guy on a black and red bike. Just after going through the pay site, maybe 2 miles, there was a part of broken road. We were both in full lean, and his front tire dropped into the hole. He popped a nice little wheelie, went airborn, and flew off the raod. I still cannot understand how his bike didnt go down! Tore his lower fairings to pieces, but luckily there was a guy with zip ties so we could put it back on. Overall a great ride. Met alot of new people, had a good time, and we all made it home.

The guy with the sv650, he didn’t have a fighting chance,… didn’t see him again. I saw something didn’t like, the newbies (and slow) were left behind and no one was watching over. Or at least that was my impression.

no...we stopped alot...but if we would have waited on EVERYONE>..we would still be out there. We waited at every stop for like 15 minutes...and if you didnt notice...whenever we were about to leave, we would see who we were missing...the ones that were missing, the guy on the Busa went back and found them. he did it at 3 stops...he went back for them. good ride though

Glad you made it ok buddy...I almost got lost myself...I was tearing it up and hit a major pothole. Blew my dampner and had to pull over...then I got so far behind I almost took a wrong turn. Luckily I had my binaculars with me...I saw a couple of bikes on the mountain way ahead of me...I caught up eventually. Hope to see you again on another ride!

In response to you PM that only you are allowed to disclose but I rather express myself openly.
No offense taken, actually you can post it in the regular forum you have the right to express your opinion. If some one gives me the assignment to be at the back I will, no one told me that and I assumed was taken care. There is a reason why and if you don’t remember please refresh yourself with the MSF book. I didn’t go too fast either! I ride within my level of experience and skills. Actually I didn’t realize of how many people dropped till the end of the ride. . I post my opinion on any forum, that’s my privilege saying this is good to express that I hold RR in high regards and this forum is full of RR. (Please don’t use bad words with me, I’m not your friend or live in your neighborhood) I’m not taking sh*t about RR, I just say that I don’t like to see peeps left behind… where is the crime?

Mustang that was a great ride...but it wasnt a bad idea to leave at Overton...the roads were so shitty...but not only that, there were a mess of RV's out that day for some reason. Nice Bike though! And thanks for the info about my leaky fluid...

Hello all,
I have been out of cold but still ride at times...It was good to see SCS riders on the RR Sunday ride. For those that do not know me...I ride the Maroon and grey Busa that was playing Shepard... "Sverik" I apologize for leaving you after we left Overton...There was a challenge I had to meet...I got to the Outlook before anyone even though I was the last to leave Overton...I went all the way back Overton looking for you and even asked the Rangers if there was any bikes in the area that had any problems... No one knew you...Your name or where you were from...I am very glad you are safe and enjoyed yourself... As for the girls in the Red Car (Linsey and Nicole) ...They followed the group all the way back to the Pizza Place which was on Flamingo and Sandhill ...Everyone was leaving by the time I got there... They were nice...I took pics of them with their phones on my bike...I would like to know their "Myspace" address to see of they put the pics on. It was a fun ride despite the ruff roads and wind... I do not think that the ride was an official RR ride because there was not really a road captain there to take up the rear... I did it because it is my nature and I have a truck and trailer and could catch up anytime I wanted...(Busa - Except no substitute) Take care all and I hope to see you soon…

Well I contact them and ask them to join the forum... so if they do, you can ask your many question… they seem to like 2 and 4 wheels and are enthusiastic about it. BTW they were driving a dodge SRT-4 (nice) http://www.dodge.com/srt-4/index.html
