Great ride today. DJ and Vegas RaiderX rode the loop. The weather was absolutely perfect.

That would be the 2/03 ride. Different thread. I don't know what happened to the Katana fellow, even after talking to DJ on the phone today.

I got all the information about the Katana guy. I ran into the other guy who was with him that day. He was on vacation, first day in town. He was a very new ridder. Him and his friends made a right turn out of the overlook after talking to us. they passed the loop exit, and about 2 corners later, he was passing a car, and he simple ran off the road. He then struck a mile marker sign, and the bike crashed. He has 17 broken bones, ruptured spleen, collapsed lung, and a seriouse head injury. He is in the UMC critical care center. He woke up today for the first time since he crashed. he didnt know he was in vegas, and couldnt figure out why he was in the hospital. The hospital said he would make it, only if they can get the internal bleeding under controll. His name is Kevin Clause, age 52. I am going to go to the hospital, just to let him know the vegas ridders are supprting him. Even though he wasnt one of ours, he was on our roads.
