How about that Public Relations ride Fi, Sat, and Sun ? Meet at the overlook at 10:00AM. Tell all other clubs that you have contacts with because heavy turn out is important. It's also important to be on our best behavior. Follow all there policies to the letter.

I would go but have no insurance (or plates) right now… what’s the agenda?

I heard that there is a members ride this weekend, so I'm cancelling this ride so as not to conflict with an official SCS function. If anybody else wants to ride somewhere else let me know.

Thanks for the additional info, but there doesn't seem to be much interest in this ride at the moment. When and if there is I'll be there to support SCS.

Whatever is going on, I'll be at the overlook on Sunday.

Don't be dissapointed if you don't get e big turnout. Something like this takes weeks of planning and promoting to pull off right. You may want to use Sunday as a day to get the word out for a later date. I would suggest a holiday weekend when the park is the busiest. If we could get a flyer printed as well ass posted online so everyone else could print their own. Then, the flyers could be distributed to other bikers over the course of several weeks, posts could be placed on all the local club boards...etc. Not to mention a shit load of press releases should be sent out to local press, print and broadcast.

I think this would work best if a HUGE impact could be made. 100's of bikes, and lots of press!

absolutly pat. and just remember its gonna take more then one ride at the speed limit. its gonna take a continuous effort to change the image. this is jsut one of the battles, but there is still an entire war to be fought for years to come on this subject

I've been loving this idea, but both bikes are down for maintenance right now. I'm trying to work on that...

I'm not dissapointed,I just realized this was too short of notice, like you said we need a huge turnout and that takes a while to set up. Pat do you have any ideas on a flyer?

Will have to put some thought into it. We should shoot for a holiday weekend that doesn't coinside with any club (ours or anyone elses) Events.

I will be for this ride... Def. I am in the process of rebuilding the Busa as I type. Once that is done, a slow ride won't kill me.. But then again if it does at least they are fairly local.

Now back to the point.. How's May sound to everyone..

That sounds like a great Idea I can design the laout for the flyer. I made so many logo flyers and layouts so just let me know what infor you need and I will post it on the board. Then all can print it out. it will be a flyer with 2 on it.

Something like this but with 2 on each page. I can have my buddy sponsor and I know I can get more sponsors for this. and help with paying for the flyers. I can get the cost for the flyers and just see what we can do. but I just need info and a Yes to go get the info. Let's make it a fund raiser. with food and stuff. I don't know lol. Just throwing it out there. Just made up the sponsors lol too.

Later
