Anyone interested in a Highway 1 ride before summer? Thinking... San Luis Obispo -> Monterey Of course... the obvious boring crap of Vegas -> Bakersfield ... But from there, it gets kind of cool (not really, but it's not straight super slab either) to SLO. Then there's the beautiful coast line, over 100 miles of it to Monterey.. then back. Prolly make a two day trip out of it.. Stay at a motel 6 or something so we can put the bikes in the room...

Or.. Straight down to Malibu... ride the 1 all the way up to Monterey.. that would be a good ride as well.

Oh ya.. forgot to mention... the Vegas -> SLO -> Montery is 620 miles, one way. Figure if we leave at 5:00AM, we'll be there some time around 3 or 4.
