Ok, here is what I've noticed, there is some hostility and a lot of seperation going on with the club...correction, our 2 wheeled family. We all seem to have a lot of shit on our plate recently. TWTS are down it appears and group rides are nonexistnant. I'm just as guilty as not being present due to factors but fuck it I'm putting something out there. I did a high speed pass to Alamo a little while back. Not really any twisties but not a lot of popo either. Just a good ride to clear your head and just fucking ride.

I'm proposing this Sat (and I now it is short notice but I think we all need/deserve it) a good get together and just do a good chill ride. You know what, there is supposedly a hot springs out there and if we go I promise not to piss anywhere near it. If nobody wants to do chase truck I offer my services for it. Afterwards I'll cook sumthing up on the grill it it be even burgers and dogs but shit, let's get bacjk to the roots of the club.

I'm riding/chasing Sat....who is in? If any interest we can work out meet and leave time between now and then.

Fixed for Sat, and just to call Gleno out I can cook dog shit better on a gas grill than he can ever cook a tritip on charcoal. BTW, dog shit does taste good if you marinade it and it will prolly be burgers and dogs for the time being.

Ok, ride from the speedway to Alamo is about 84 miles one way.

http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...=Race%20Tracks

Sunday would be nice to ride as well but remember, we are doing the highway cleanup this Sunday.

Ok, so here it is. I'm riding Sat. Meet up at the gas station/quiki mart right near the speedway at 10. Roll at 10:30 and at a nice click we should get to Alamo by lunch time. Play a round of kick STEEl in the bean bag j/k

I'd go, but I'm picking my ride up this saturday in Mesa, AZ.

If you ride passed Alamo and take the 318 north (stay to the right, don't go to area 51) and cruise up about 20 miles it gets a little windy, no real twisties but it's kind of fun for 3/4 - full throttle.

Just watch that first town you come into.. the sheriff of alamo lives there, and they love to write tickets.

the weather report I'm looking at says it will be 104 here tomorrow. I'm usually not interested in riding in triple digits.

Sounds like we got a couple of confirms. It does get a little cooler going out that way then being in the valley. I don't mind the heat since i have air conditioning on the bike--my right wrist and vents on the jacket OK all, I'm going to start getting my shit together and head out from my house here at 0930. I'll be at the meet place by 10. Any questions and feel free to call me 809-3638.
