Back by popular demand!

The weather is good, the bikes are running better and the ability for you non-riding fair weather riders is now at it's optimum to take a nice long ride out of town and enjoy some of the nice scenery of Arizona.

We will start out from the Fiesta Hotel & Casino in Henderson at 6:00AM.
Ride to Kingman (Petro - 20 miles to the east of Kingman) to Gas up and take a short breather.
From Petro we will take the 93 down to Yarnell and eat Breakfast at the Ranch House. (cash only) Great Hole in the wall place to eat.
From Yarnell, (gas up in Yarnell) comes the white spars. The west side of Prescott and many many miles of beautiful technical twisities to enjoy.
From Prescott, comes Mingus!! This 25 mile very technical twistie track is a dream to all sport bike riders of all ages and skill.
Once in Jerome, we'll stop at the Spirit Room to enjoy some nice cold beverages.
After Jerome, comes Sssssedddooonnnaaaaa and the blackgold river Canyon!
This is another set of mind boggeling twisites and beautiful roads and scenery.
Lunch in Sedona, many different resturaunts to please all walks of life.
From Sedona we'll ride up the back side of the canyon and up into the south side of Flagstaff for Gas & Water
Super Slab the I-17/I-40 to Kingman and then back home.

Total Miles: 620

It doesn't get much better than this in the south west unless you're familiar with southern california.

The date will NOT be posted. If you are interested in this ride, you need to PM me for the details.

The time and meet up spot are in the original thread. The date was not published.

Time: 6:00AM
Where: Fiesta Hotel and Casino Parking lot (Just as you come into the casino.)

Please come prepared and ready to roll by 6:10.
Check tire pressure and chain before you get there. Your bikes will need to have full tanks on departure.

Here's a couple of secrets to LDR's.

1. Drink a lot of water starting two days before the trip.
2. If you have passenger pegs, use those to prop your boots up on to to prevent your knees from locking up or staying to stiff and collecting salt deposits.

Salt deposits are what causes the pain in your ass, knees and elbows.

Make sure you bring a liter or two of water with you on the trip and something to snack on like salt-free peanuts or something goofy like that. (Salt Free is important). (Beef Jerkey and other such things contain a ton of salt... )

So far we have 6 Confirms, 2 drop outs and two definite maybe's.
You peeps who will miss this ride will miss a great time!
Don't let a little mileage keep you on the couch! The miles go by fast when you're flopping around like a fish! :)

Reminder: The night before the outing, if you need oil changed, chain tightened, tires filled..etc.. you can bring your ride to my place and we'll work it over. My garage closes at 9:00PM.

I don't know.. I have forkphobia. Probably wouldn't take much longer than two hours I'd guess.
