VALLEY OF FIRE/ LAKE MEAD RUN!!!

DO I EVEN NEED TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE?

Oh well, here goes:

up 15n
through valley of fire
left on mousetrap(i think thats the name)
turn around and go to northshore rd.
overton for gas
down northshore
left to callville bay marina(eat/drink/pool)
home

interactive map <---(CLICKY)if you dont have a sign in, get one its free! or you can just click on "find ride" and click on las vegas.

plenty of time to plan for this one...

I'm out. VSR is having a BBQ on the 15th.

Depending on what time they start, it might make a nice finish to a ride.

Not sure about the lake, but someone I ride with got a $1300 ticket on the way to VOF?

i dont remember ever seeing any rangers out at vof or the lake, allways one in overton though.

last time there was one patch of dirt about a mile long but it was smoother than the asphalt and not loose dirt anyway, i rode thru it going about 35-40 with no probs.

what time are they starting? i was planning to start this one a little earlier anyway. that would be nice to hit a BBQ after the ride, we could even skip callville bay to save an hour or so.

i don't know what time the BBQ starts, but i know i want to go, so...start time may be dependant on that. more later

i think if we kick off at 10am we should be at the BBQ at like 1:30

I Ride: 04 1000RR
this ride took us about 5 hours last time but we also took a long break when we stopped after mousetraps. And we were at calville for a while. Should only take about 3-3 1/2 if we keep the stops to about 4 (gates to pay, mousetraps, overton for gas, and calville since this is where we break off) and not sit for too long.

i started going to callville bay to eat/drink(and its a nice road)but if we're gonna eat/drink at BBQ then we may as well skip callville all together

BTW: everyone is aware of the set of pilot powers up for grabs at the BBQ...right!?!

VSR bbq will start @ 11:00 a.m. $15.00 raffle tickets for a chance @ a new set of Pilots you are correct.

O.K. so i just saw that the BBQ is being held -->HERE
I figure we may as well do the route backwards starting in henderson and ending at VOF where we can over to floyd lamb park for some food, friends and fun!

memphis BBQ is being served at 12:30 so we should prolly by 9:30 from -->HERE at the 76 station.
from there it's only 90 miles to the moappa gas station and another 40 miles to the BBQ.

SVErik, 10am like you metioned earlier sonds a lot better, and we should be at the BBQ right o time. Herdeson to Moapa its no more than 2hours. let us know.
