On Sunday we will be meeting up again for what is becoming a weekly event; the Sunday ride. After weeks of riding to Charlie’s house to wake him up, last week Charlie was awake and on time! Come on out and see if he can do it again this week!! This week’s coming attraction also includes Martin’s bike’s reincarnation as a 750 (okay, only superficially). In the past few weeks, we’ve gone to Mount Charleston, Pahrump, the Hoover Dam, Nelson (my personal favorite so far) and Overton. We hope to have a planned route figured out by Sunday morning, but of course we will maintain some flexibility to accommodate any suggestions that someone may have. The meeting place will be the “It’s A Grind” coffee shop on 215 and South Durango at 7:00am. We are trying to make sure that we actually assemble and start riding on time, this time. From It’s A Grind (great coffee by the way), we will hit the Red Rock Loop and hopefully pick up some other riders at the lookout before heading out. Of course, it’s always more fun to ride in a good sized group, so please invite any friends who are willing to wake up early on a Sunday morning. Our only requirement is that we leave our egos at home; we ride to have a good time, not to prove anything to anyone. We don’t care what groups you normally ride with; we’re just out to have a good time and everyone is welcome.
