sry, I'm going again to Yarnel and Prescott AZ this sunday, I have a friend that as a T-rex that may come with me.

i'm still trying to find that "nelson's summit" route woodpecker mentioned.

isn't it on hwy 95 ( by boulder city) then once you passed the dry bed it's like 5 miles on the left ?
I went to Nelson a couple times it's pretty .

anybody want to go to Prescott this sunday ?

i was just looking around on google earth and found this crazy looking mountain pass in sw utah called route 9:

"route 9, utah" lat=37.2155537399, lon=-112.983984385


just paste into the google earth address bar. anyone know anything about this road? and how far a trip is it to get there? 2-3 hours?


another one i found is cr5 - 101 running south east out of saint george

jesus & ended up doing the entire ride yesterday (15N-- saint george--9N through zion natl park-89-18 over cedar mountain). 420 miles for the day.

absolutely amazing roads on cedar mountain. note to self: don't ride 10,000 ft. mountain passes after dark...

I rode over a mountain once at night going to California, it was not cool at all. It was freezeing, and the fog was so thick I couldn't really see that far in front of me. And to top it off I couldn't keep my visor clear, there was too much condensation onit, so I had to keep wipeing it with my hand constantly...NOT COOL
