Special thx for the hayabusa riders for coming out with us. Had a blast untill the end.

Rider down. Me_wrestler/ Collin Kawi zx14 red 07'

He was riding sweep through valley of fire. We went up a hill the curved to the left at the top, he must have not been paying attention and went straight into the dirt. Bike fliped at least once and landed facing the opposite way. Bike is Totaled. Collin is at the UMC Trauma Center for those that know him. Sorry I don't have a last name. He suffered a concushion, brused shoulder, maybe broken leg and complaining of back pain. Any questions call me i will be visiting him around 5pm 267-8799

Was a bad day for him I hope he heals quickly and gets back ridding.

For those of you that have rode vallye of fire it was the corner where you top a hill and then make a left hander. He prob was riding on the right hand side of the road topped the hill and when he started to make the turn he went wide and into the dirt....

I think I know which turn you're talkin' about. There's a couple of turns out there that will catch you totally off guard if you're not paying attention (not saying that was the case with him). Hope he has a speedy recovery.

Yep...I did some unintentional off-roading during my first VoF ride. It can be tricky if you lose focus.

FYI... here's a shot of Colin from our Zion ride last week. Get well bro!

Thank you for all your concern. I actually don't remember much about the accident. They told me that I was unconscious for a while. I am now at home chillin'. I'll be back up and riding before you know it.

So here's the physical rundown..... Ripped up left knee, bruised lungs, fractured shoulder blade, and a fractured vertibrae, and alot of little cuts and bruises. I actually feel better than I thought that I would with all that. Thanks again for all the concern, it's pretty easy to understand why people would want to be a member of such a great group (family).

Dude that 14 is a great bike, but its versatility stops at dirt.. Glad you are ok. Don't rush back, it is all here for you when you are ready... Keep ya spirits up.

Mr. Colin Sir,

That's amazing that you're at home, healing, "and" in fine spirits. Prayers answered. I guess ol' wrestlers are plenty tough even when tossed off Big Kawi's. What amazes me is that I took a good long look at you're 07' on the back of that flatbed as we hustled back into town on the I-15....and here you are posting and recovering....."phew"......

God Bless Ya,....now that I know about SCS, I'll have to be attending more of the hometown's rides. Please keep me minformed on your progress. It was nice having another "red' moto on the run. Sounds like you got a good group of folks here !!!
