I have spent the last couple of months trying to find a replacement airbox for my CR500. Mine was pretty tore up. I finally had to have Dave (Exiled) combine to airboxes to make one good one. BTW thanks Dave.

I rejetted the carb back to stock and put in a new plug. Previously, it took forever to get the bike started. Now...2 kicks. I ran it up and down my parking lot a few times to test it out. All I have to say is WOW!

The bike was cold and still lifting the front tire at about 1/2 throttle I can't wait to get this thing in the dirt! Ofcourse, I will be gentle on the throttle. This thing is a beast!

It should be a blast...and yes, I bought my plugs in pairs. Kinda like an old triumph, you change out the plugs once a month, clean up the old one etc.!

Went out to Nellis Dunes today to shake down the CR. It was a bit harder to start in the heat than it was the other night. Dave was with me to test the bike out as well. All I have to say is
"THIS BIKE IS EVIL"

The power band is pretty straight forward...instant on. Give it gas and it f'n goes! Like a bat outta hell. It even scared Dave. I am not ashamed to say that this is tooooooooooo much bike for me. Look for it in the for sale section on monday.

pics to come
