Great pic Jerry. Were all glad you made it out today. It was great to see so many SCS peeps at riding at hanging out, lotsa fun. SO heres how my day went. Got new tires on the 6rr (thanks Jim) head out to get a feel for the bike sense its the first time out on it. I take it easy for a few laps to scrub in the tires then start to lay into the throutle a bit. Second sesssion I feel alot better on the bike and am having some fun. I am out by my self so I slow it down to wait for someone to pass me so I would have someone to rid with. A few corners later Ali* and his buddy came around me so I followed them. Were all heading into turn one and I going in deep on the brakes and sneak by Ali now I am in between Ali and his buddy going into turn one. All is well until we hit turn two when all of a sudden Ali's friend lowsides right in front of me. We are three feet apart and long story short I hit him (kinda) His bike goes one way and he slides right at me and his foot hits my footpeg braking my foot peg. I go off into the dirt but saved it and got back on the track. I get back to the pits and we do a great job of safety wiring the peg back on and I finish my day.

Great time everybody..... No crashes except Josh's mishap, Fine lady's walking all over the place.
* It was my first time at Lv and first time doing sessions, Some sessions seem to go by too fast especially when you get in a groove.... The track was a little loose early in the morning but that could have been a shagged front tire..
* *Good to see a large showing of SCS, and "Road Warrior Dave" and his frankeinbike made it with
* no problemo's...* Also thanks to R-W-D for bring his pocket bike.....Wooooo Hoooo

Told you guys you should have stole...errr....I mean invited Les up for her rearsets. LOL

I'm sorry I didn't get to hang with you guys in the pits except for at lunch (I was working corner number 3 for the day), but it was cool to see everyone there. I just hope we have a huge SCS turn out when I'm able to make a track day cuz it's great to have people to talk to about how you're doin' on the track, especially if they can see you and help you out with some valuable tips and such.

It was, however, pretty darn cool to see you guys hittin' turn 3 all day. I must admit that Jorge from Cycle Shop is damn fast on that black/copper machine! I didn't know who everyone was when they were on the track (I just knew Dave, Josh & Pete because I know their track bikes).

Anyway, it was totally cool to see everyone at lunch and I'm glad none of you had any real incidents (even including Josh's duct taped...uhhh...I mean safety wired footpeg. LOL) all day. That was great.

Pete - thanks for everything man. I appreciate the Gatorade and the chair for the corner working. It was pretty cool, but I was DYIN' to be on the track with you guys. Hopefully next time!

Hey there Dave,

What corner did you get your knee down in? I have yet to do it and I'm sure it'll freak me out too, but if I know which corner you did it in, it gives me something to shoot for. LOL!!!!

Thank you sir...

Maybe I'll get lucky and get my knee down there as well if I get a chance to ride the Classic Course.

Damn I hope I get fairly fast fairly quickly...then maybe I can move to Level II to hang with you guys. It's more fun riding with people you know and trying to chase them down and such than just doing it yourself. LOL

Man Level 1 is going to be lonely on Sat. Hopefully some of you guys can see some of the corners and give me suggestions on where I can do better.

You'll have a better chance than me because I'm sure you were faster than me initially. I did a few trackdays on my R1, but I wasn't all that fast...but I was riding decently in Level II prior to selling my bike...so I'm hoping to get back there soon. :) At least then I'd be in Level II with some of the other guys/girls. LOL
