I got some slo-mo shots at the trackday (LVMS/Fasttrack riders). These are raw clips, no editing or color correction. We are going to be using a lot of these super slo mo shots in the show.

That IS slick seeing it all in slow motion. I've done some filming and put slow mo shots in before, but the clip wasn't for very long, and it was an onboard shot so it didn't look as good in my opinion. Could be a very good training aid!

The footage was shot at `120 frames per second then played back at 30 frames per second (standard). We are using the slow motions shots for the instructional and demo section of our show. I will have a short demo up in a couple of days with some different uses.

I am using the footage to demonstrate both good and bad body positioning as well as suspension setups. Can you tell me were you see some obvious issues for either?

What I noticed the most were guys leaning their bikes, with the knee out/down, but their upper bodies appeared to be too upright and over the center of the bike, rather than down low with their heads about where the mirrors would be. Almost like they're countering the natural lean of the bike. I'm guilty of this from time to time as well and I'll bet if I wasn't concentrating on staying down on the bike, I'd look exactly the same if you'd caught me out there. I look at some of my older videos of my track days and it's a wonder I haven't crashed yet! That's why I say video is an excellent teacher. Especially for someone that FEELS like they're leaning so far off the bike that they're about to fall off, but when they see it on video, they realize they have room for more lean angle than they thought they had!

Your right on your analysis. There were differing levels of lean. Most of the riders had part of it right but part of it wrong. You can't really tell until you see a video or still though. It always amazes me how little lean angle I have when I feel like I am WAAAAY over.

These are the types of shots we are going to use in the instructional segments of our show. You can see how handy they are

That's awesome footage and should really aid riders at the track. What type of video camera are you using? Watching that definitely reminds me I have a lot to learn when it comes to track riding and proper technique, but I can't wait to get started!
