Cool!! Good to know Jay! I don't know that I need MORE reasons to come out that weekend!! I was actually looking at doing the track day here in Pahrump the next weekend, as you know... and I realized one day there, plus the Bike Camp is almost as much as the two days at Willow, so now I'm seriously looking at doing Willow.... PROS: great price, get to go with great peeps, meet Cookiebug, meet you... CONS: what were they again?

I am booking my room at Devonshire today. $77 for 2 queen beds. All the cheaper places are all just 1 bed and much further away from the track.

I am booking the trackdays tonight

If you go to do the Trackdays at Willow Springs, sign up for the new riders school on Saturday (it's free), then on Sunday you can practice what you learned the day before.

To me a holiday weekends are the best time to do road trip trackdays, because you'll get home Sunday night and still have another day to recuperate and relax! Also when you have friends going as well, then you won't be by yourself!

Well, if I thought I had a chance of passing him, it might be a PRO. However, I'm sure he will be lapping me multiple times... and that is okay. I'm just happy to be out there pushing it a little-- just a little-- not taking chances with my street bike... my baby... my VFRrrrrrrrr...

Okay... finally did it... I'm back IN! I'm registered for one day, 9/5. I'll take Sunday to just relax at the hotel pool... please tell me the hotel has a pool!... or read a book or something.

So... my truck is back in too.... hope that helps!

Hey Jay, I am going to be running some cameras on both my and Freddie's bikes. Do I have to have them mounted at tech?

Pat,

It isn't necessary to have them mounted for tech but We do require anyone running a camera to check in with our grid marshall or our video instructor Tom Davlantis. They will make sure your mount and camera is securely mounted to the bike. They will pretty much say that during the riders meeting... But if you would prefer to have them mounted before tech inspection, you can have the person tech inspecting yours & Freddie's bikes grab Tom Davlantis, have him check your equipment and sign you off. you won't have to worry about it later. .

I got your message, pretty cool your working on that, it's very good work!
Thanks for sharing that with me!

Wowzer... probably worth lots of money...

...with that said, I would have to play it safe and say mount it and see what Tom Davlantis would have to say...

personally to me in the picture it looks like a pretty big set up, and may interfer with your riding... and you know where I'm going with that.

best to ask the person that has the final say so. ok

But then again, your not riding on the track this time right????

so your more than welcome to mount it to your bike and ride the access road!
