I'm definitely interested... did my first track day a few months ago here at LVMS, but moola can be an issue these days. If the pot gets sweeter, I may be able to join in. Keep me in the loop!!

Here is my situation. Labor Day weekend is pretty busy. No video shoots, but big DJ and Photo stuff. I can have my peeps cover everything that I would have done. I didn't need that money anyway.

The challenge is I do not have use of the Van and the Benz has no trailer hitch. What to do?

Pat,
we'll figure it out.
The hardest part is you being able to take time off.
The rest is cake...

Let's see if we can borrow trailer and truck for all that are going...

Not sure if your interested, but there is free camping at the track... No showers though... they do have sinks and toliets & there is a diner that is open during track hours.

my wife and I might camp Friday night and get a room Saturday night.
at this time I think the gates close at 8pm, I'll check to be sure, if they can hold the gates open later...

I can really only afford 1 day. I was originally thinking I would go for the whole weekend even if I only do one day, but I'm now thinking I really need to be home at least one day on the weekend. I would say that if the vote is to go for two days go for it... I will stay home... which really is probably what I should do anyway instead of spending the money. Have fun boyz!!

Todd,

You'd get there and take care of your accommodations yourself, right ?
Or did you need us for anything ?

Either way, hope to see you there.

I'll make my own accommodations. I'm looking at the motel 6 in Lancaster about 20 miles away. Only $50 for a night. Is Jay giving you guys a discount?

I'm IN for unofficial "event photographer"
I can only go for one day - Sat or Sun.
I'll bring a couple of cameras and some memory cards. Looking forward to sorting thru hundreds and hundreds of photos.

And No, Freddie, I'm not bringing the 12. I'll be driving the car.

Can I be a "maybe"? Maybe take bike for track day if time and money work out... maybe one day down and up to hang out and watch... assuming Born2Run will let me drive down and back with him? If not, that's cool too B2R, we can talk about it.... maybe still out depending on how time and money work out.

It really is a great opportunity and a great deal, but I'm just trying to figure out how to swing it...
