I've been shooting he same corners these past few months trying to get the the images that I imagine myself in. The type of shots that I really enjoy looking at myself. The outside shot from coming in from the right, depending on your perspective with a little bit of a chase going on: And from the left with a little facial expression, GGGRRR. I have to remember to mention his facial expression next time to him when he and his lovely muse are up in my neck of the woods: The outside back shot. What I try to do for this shot is symmetry in space between the knee, front tire, and rear tire. Pretty hard to time since the first impulse I have is to hit the shutter button as soon as they fill the frame. I try to fill the frame as fast as I can because if I wait too long, the subject becomes too small to recognize: And the last thing I worked on today, the Speedometer shot. This ends all tall tales of how fast a rider was going at one of the fastest corners at my home track. Most folks actually refer to it as the butt shot primarily because most riders are concerned about how far out their butt is in terms of lean angle. I try to be politically correct by moving the attention from the butt, which is nice to look at by the way when female riders come by, to the speedometer. She talks to me, that qualifies as me knowing her. Her beau is one lucky guy, she's fast, she's incredibly attractive, and friendly.
