a few pix from AMJAM Super Moto @ the park...
goes off on Wen nights - just an empty parking lot with a long str8, a few sweepers, a chicane, & a jump ramp - using cones & fencing made of PVC

any1 can do this, but the trick is not getting shut down - noise is an issue, as well as insurance! I tip my hat to the organizers & the city park & rec for keeping this going for the kids - I think this will be the 2rd year running - I say keep 'em busy & out of trouble!!! $10 to run in a class, so I know the organizers are LOSING money, but they want to keep it affordable for the kids on limited funds so all can come out & race - props!

there was one pile up, no major injuries - one guy cracked the cases on his pocket bike after it shot out from under him & belched oil all over, but was cleaned up - my son jumped a curb & went off into the desert habitat but was no worse for wear, busted his shifter so stuck in 1rst (would have rode all night if we let him, immediately fell asleep in the truck on the way home LMAO)

yep... he ran right into the plastic barricade and they had to stop the race!

he ended up knocking into oncoming traffic after the far turn at the end. poor dood!

We can hear them from our house still, but since everyone upgraded to the 49cc, Gary's old 43cc can't hang!

If you want a deal on a pocket bike, that used to be the place to make it.

Do they still have vendors come out there? Is it still sponsored by Red Bull?
How cool, we gotta go check it out again one of these days.
