We're going to Reno-Fernley with TrackXperience 11/4

I just figure I should start this thread, since my work buddy Brian and I are planing on making the trip. It's a little less than a month away, so it should give everyone time to put in for some vacation time and take Friday off to drive up...

I plan on staying at the Best Western there in Fernley, NV.

I had the chance to stop by the track this weekend...man...I was impressed. It seems like it will be an fun. Many elevation changes and for the most part, a lot of run off. Temperatures will be in the 50s, so dress accordingly.

So...how do I describe it? A long fcuken track! It claims 23 turnes, I swear it was closer to 50..Elevation changes, tight left right lefts, and a front straight where you can go 6th pinned into turn 1...I did 2 days, drove up, 10 hours friday, stayed at the Fernley Super 8, rode all 7, 30min sessions on Saturday, and 6 on Sunday, drove home, got home bout 1am.. I had so much fun I'd do it again..anyone care to join me next time?

Front straight leads to turn "1" a fast complex of "S's" into turn 2/3..a fast entry decreasing radious turn that fish hooks at the end, set up is key... that takes you starting up a hill to a sharp right then left then you swing it wide to drive up the hill, 3 turns up a hillside and then you have the first "blind" corner that you think "should" go right, it's a left...into another decreasing fast right hander, onton a short straight then a super quick right then a super slow left, arm pump, down a short hill to a left that takes you on the back straight...just as you grab a gear, dump it back down cuz you have a tight 180 left, back up a little hill to a right decreasing radius, quick left then anothe frast right (I liked that turn alot) down a hill to a sharp bumpy left across to a right that you had to set up way late on the turn in...that lead you into the bowl turn then down the hill to a fast 100+mph left onto the front straight...pin it!!!!

Cliff notes version.. 400 miles in 2 days..finished the tires that were on my bike, and finished off the set that I put on.... Lots of fun, but I am sooooo tired..
