a friend of mine is going to do the 1/4 today with his car , I'm going with him and i'm thinking of trying with my bike for the fun of it. I never did that before and remember that I have a ZZR 1200.. which is not really made for that stuff... should I make my rear suspension stiffer ? I'll try to launch arround 3500 rpm. I'm affraid that if I try at a higher rpm I'll have a hard time to keep the nose down....

As far as launching, I put it at 5k, then when I see yellow, go WFO while letting out the clutch, keeping the revs at about 8k. Controlling the front wheel with the clutch, not the throttle. For the suspension, if you want to mess with it, the lower the better.

Good runs. You'll be in the tens before you know it.
