STT & Cal sports will be here in November, Novice w/ schoo or w/o, intermediate and Advanced. Cal sports is offering a Advance Class for an extra $100.00

I have a pic of the track in my email but I don't know how to put it here. If someone will let me send it to your email and maybe you can post it.

I'll most likely be there. Cal-sportbikes put on a good show last month at Pahrump and are going to be there on the 29th and 30th of this month.

I don't know if they will discount this time. I know the Fee will be 140 for sat. I'm not sure for both days. However I know I could never do two days, I was wiped after one.

I am pretty sure they do not offer membership ti the West Coast since they don't have alot of events. That is something I ran into with them last year.. They refunded the membership fees though... Great Trackday org in my opinion, the setup is outstanding for the track newbie..

That was last weekend's layout? Somehow it seems different to me. Only because I was workin' turn 3 and it doesn't appear on that map that turn 3 exists where I was at.....Hmmmm...

Disregard...it's upside down (so to speak), now I see what corner I was in. I never saw the track map before.

Damn I wish I had $140 to do Level 1 in. I'll just have to wait till the next time.

Does anyone know if they have track days in Dec/Jan here?

Doesn't make sense to me that they don't do track days here in the summer because it's hella hot, but yet they don't do them in the winter either because it's cold??? WTF?! I know I ran Fontana in Nov and Big Willow in Dec before....it's not that darn cold...just dress for it. I'm surprised they can't do the same here in Vegas. Damn...now I'll have to wait till whenever they come back....March maybe???? Ugggghhhh

Josh - I thought you were in for that day?

Okay, who is going what day? I'm seriously thinking of making this track day. However, since it'll be my first time back on a track in 14 months, I was hoping to go if a bunch of people are going (ya know...for support. LOL). I'll be in the Novice class (of course) and might even take the school for the heck of it...especially if it doesn't cost anything extra.

Anyway, if you all could let me know who's going FOR SURE (like signed up) and not maybe, I would appreciate it. Plus, which day. Seems like some are up in arms as to which day. Dave's going to be cool enough to let me borrow his leathers for that day so that's why I want to make sure everything is good to go first before I bug him for them. :-)

Anyway..thanks!
Mat

Okay all you track freaks...

I just registered for Sat, Nov 12th, so I'll be there with you guys.

I'm in the Novice group and figured what the hell....I took the school too. It can't hurt, for sure.

Just don't be laughin' at me when you can take my lap times using a sundial, okay? LOL

If I can get my schedule cleared I am actually going to make this one. That means if we can get Dave to go, the entire FGR team will be present.

Man I really want to take the novice class one of these days but I still need to invest in some leathers & boots. I will be at the track this weekend to help out 2 of my coworkers who are riding. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Pat...it would be awesome if you could make it out.

It's my understanding from Dave that he is doing Sunday.

However, he can't really do Saturday. *I'm borrowing his leathers so I can do the Sat track day. *

So, 2 out of 3 isn't too bad for the FGR team! *He'll be there in spirt, I'm sure!

For the novice class you don't need leathers. You can use a balistic type outfit. Like joe rocket has... but you do need boots that go over the ankle and no outer laces...
