| Both of these cars will be getting hella marked up by dealerships. I'd have a hard time choosing between the two, but I'd lean towards the GT-R.

I've been seriously kicking around the idea of buying another corvette (not a Z06) but since I only drive an average of like 6000 miles a year since I've moved to vegas, I just cant justify it to myself. I wouldnt get rid of my truck if i did buy one and most likely the driving would be spilt between them... seems like alot of money to spend to drive 3000 miles a year. This mileage isnt counting what I put on my bikes, which seems to be about 2500 - 4000 miles a year. But the thought of a Shelby Cobra kit car sitting in the garage... I've wanted one for years and now there is nobody here to bitch about it :)

Shelby Cobras are fun cars... an old co-worker of mine built one of the Factory Five replicas and it was a blast to drive. There's even a spec racing series for them if you're brave.

It's a great car, no doubt about it.... but all I can think of these days when I see the muscle cars is the price at the pump I will be spending to drive it.

Thats a beautiful car, but alot more than I want to spend. Plus I think half the fun of owning one would be building it myself.
