Eluding away from the Police makes more sense after watching that video. That cop was definately applying the strategy of shoot first ask questions later.

Pretty sick! Like everything else, there are always going to be some bad apples. Pretty tough job be a cop, every decision you make could be a career ending decision for both if it's the wrong one.

Videos like this will make bullet proof vests as standard gear for motorcyclist.

I'm really surprised the cops did not destroy the video on this.

Wow...what's even worse is he shot him in the back like a total fucking coward.

Whatta PUSSY...I know it was dark and scary outside and the officer was prolly menstruating. But come on man, you can shoot people in the back like they're animals. That's low man, this cop is a Balless Wonder! He has no business being on the force, or even owning a firearm for that matter.

Sorry, still ranting...

What a Total Fucking Round Mouth :o

Wouldn't you think someone that knew officer White would say..."Thomas. You're a big fucking pussy, you jump at your own shadows and you probably still wet that bed...what makes you think your capable of Protecting and Serving the public?"

Jesus Christ man, know your limitations. Some people are just not meant to up hold the law.

Thanks to Jeff for posting this up. I have posted this up on the FZ6-Forum which already has about 60 different posts from around the world,, some of them by cops. Very interesting to read what others have thought, not just here in the states, but from abroad.

There are a lot of members who give the benefit of doubt and always support the cops side of the story, but in this case, sorry no can do. Well, maybe except one member. But once again, the rider used very poor judgement as well knowing that there was a cop behind them.

Everyone, start practicing your slow speed manuevers by doiing your U-Turns. Makes me want to face the cop during my next traffic stop, you never know when you might face a trigger happy LEO.

As somebody has posted, could this be an accident? Accidently triggering the gun. I'm sure that officer has encountered many traffic stops involving cars in which the driver had made much more body movement than what the rider just did. You're on a motorcycle, you're exposed and vulnerable, what better scenario for the cop as he has such a huge advantage. Mind boggling.

Last rant from me...

Did anyone watch the RAW video footage of this shooting? These two riders were clearly just out for a joy ride. If they were really up to no good, they wouldn't have wilding out or speeding with a cop on their tails.

Im no expert but did anyone notice that AFTER office White shot the rider, he put his trigger finger back on the frame of the gun. In the finger forward safety position. I mean Fuck he already shot him and made the (wrong) executive decision that the rider was a threat. Why wouldn't he just keep his finger on the trigger...I'll tell you why! Its because just as soon as he fired a round through the back of the rider, he knew he fucked up. I think actions speak louder than words. And to me, keeping his finger on the trigger would back up his decision to shoot the rider as a threat. I've seen first hand cops pulling their guns on people, with their fingers on the trigger and they didn't end up shooting anyone. To me the simple fact that officer White kept his finger in the forward safety position, shows that he wasn't in fear of losing his life and he knew that the rider wasn't a threat.

Also about 5:45mins into the video it looks like officer White even let the other rider help move the bike off the rider that was shot. If these riders were really an evasion, eluding, or threats...wouldn't the other rider be force to lay arms out, face down until more help came? I mean how can they justify shooting one rider as a threat, while letting the other rider freely move about the crime scene.

This thing reeks of misconduct and wrong doings.

Guilty... faces up to 13 years in prison.

But even in prison, he will still be able to get up and walk to the toilet. Thats a luxury the other guy no longer has.

Sure are a lot of videos of cops doing fucked up shit these days. I'm sure its probably always happened, but video cameras are cheap now and news spreads quickly on the internet.

I guess the real question is does it make them more accountable.

It appears that those cops may have lied about how the girl was shot.

Atty: Video shows police fired into Detroit home | US National Headlines | Comcast.net

But regardless of how she was shot, it shouldnt have happened. Swat teams really shouldnt be raiding homes dressed like soldiers and tossing in explosives and shooting dogs and kids.

Needs to be more accountability. They should be held to much higher standards than the citizens they are sworn to serve and protect. They should be leading by example. Instead, it seems like they are playing soldier and waging war on citizens. The end result is a society that views them with distrust, apathy, and anger.

Nobody wins.

With the way things are going...if my house ever gets Raided, chances are you'll see my name in the papers. Between me, my girlfriend and our roomates, there's over 9 firearms in our house. And whether it be criminal invaders or swat team raiders, in the middle of the night if someone is breaking in...its all home invasion to me.

Short a few traffic violations I stay on the good side of the law and I have not problem with LE. But badge or no badge...I can see things escalating and spiral out of control fast for whoever kicks in my door.

(Hopes and prays my house never gets raided)

Well it seems that there is at least some change for Columbia Swat

Columbia police announce further changes to SWAT policy - Columbia Missourian

Executing a warrant 8 days after it was issued is just plain stupid, and I cant even begin to think about justifying a high risk warrant 8 days after it was issued. That is like saying we need swat for a hostage situation, then 8 days later calling them out.

What a bunch of embarrassment to the LEO community.

Wow

I just was reading the search warrant affidavit . Barely even meets the thresh hold of a search warrant.

If I was the judge I would not touch it with a ten foot pole, I would have sent them back for more info.

apparently SWAT is being abused to do drug raids and serve seearch warrants instead of it's intended purpose of protecting citizens. A sad day.

A STUDENT has been saved from a vicious assault - not by the boys in blue but the men in black.
Ninjas scared off three thugs who had the misfortune to attack the 27-year-old medical student outside their warrior school.

The German exchange student had been targeted by the men while he was riding the late-night train home, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.

They demanded he give them his wallet but when he refused and got off the train, they followed.

They pounced as he made his way through a dark alley in Sydney's west.

They grabbed his phone and iPod and kicked him while he lay on the ground.

However, the men were spotted by a member of a nearby dojo.

Nathan Smith told his sensei and the rest of the students at Ninja Senshi Ryu and they rushed out to confront the thugs - all dressed in traditional black ninja garb.

On seeing the ninjas, the men fled, only to be later arrested by police.

"You should have seen their faces when they saw us in ninja gear coming towards them," the school's sensei, Kaylan Soto, told the Herald.

They also failed to notice a ninja, Nathan Smith, standing in the shadows outside the dojo. Mr Smith immediately alerted his sensei, or teacher.

Another ninja, Steve Ashley, said: "It was probably the worst place in Sydney where they could have taken him."
