There is a lot to be learned from this video!

1. The rider is lucky to be alive. Do you know more riders are killed from hitting guardrails than hitting vehicles going around a corner? They are pretty much a long razor sharp piece of metal, and will most likely be a death sentence if you lowside into one.

2. The rider was doing fine, riding his own pace but as soon as he came across another rider in front of him, it appears that he was trying to keep up with the faster rider. A certain guarantee that you will end in a crash as well if you make this a habit, you have to ride your own ride.

3. The only way for that rider to avoid the crash was to Look though the turn, press and lean harder and trust that bike to make that corner. As soon as you look straight, the bike will go in that direction. Looked liked he tried to straighten out the bike and brake but definately not enough distance to stop in time.

4. This is why you have to slow down before every turn!

**notice the guy on the dual sport with his knobby tires able to keep up? Remember, it's the rider, not the motorcycle.

Yup. I have gone in hotter then I was comfortable a few times, what saved my ass was lay the bike over, hit the gas and hold on. Came out of the corner and thought, well damn, bike handles better then I do.

Anybody painting their bike in a Mickey's Big Mouth scheme deserves to get highsided over a guardrail.
