Not to be augmentative. But the citizen will probably still need to go to court to close out the case. And again, this is why coppers get a bad rap. And another thing. Most coppers are O.K. After saying that. Why can't the departments get rid of the bad ones? They know who they are in most cases. It seems police officers have to commit a heinous crime to get fired.

I may be off base with this one but, I think they are a part of a union when they are sworn in. Getting let go with union representation takes an act of god........
